The Koala Ovens combine three essential features needed to cook the delicious crisp, tasty pizzas that you find only in Italy:
- High Temperature - gas or electric domestic ovens will not reach anywhere near 350oC.
- A Stone Hearth - to finish the pizza on the stone hearth for the last couple of minutes resulting in a crisp crunchy base.
- A Wood Fire - that breathes through the oven to impart that uniquely wonderful wood fired flavor.

- Koala Ovens are a versatile four in one unit.
- They are a wood fired oven for breads, meats, fish and pizza.
- They are a great way to barbecue meat, chicken and hamburgers to perfection using a rack above the oven floor.

- They are a smoker for fish, chicken etc with the use of some wet sawdust or wood chips added to the firebox
