PASSIVE HOME REQUIREMENTS

There are a number of approved wood heaters that have outside air for passive homes
But only 1 approved flue; Pivot's RSF flue is passive home approved.
This is achieved in 2 parts:

Pivot's RSF Insulated flue uses insulation to keep the flue at the correct (and safe) temperature

No air is used to cool the flue down

Our RSF Ceiling ring uses high temp insulation to seal against the ceiling to provide the 1st step in sealing the room
No need to silicone to the plaster, the ceiling ring has 3 straps to allow you to PULL TIGHT against the ceiling, for the insulation to properly air seal the room
