Convection heating means the sides of the Alterra heater are cool to touch, this outer-casing creates it own air flow to assist in moving heat around you room - the optional fan boosts the heating capacity.

fire brick lined

The Alterra comes standard with firebrick lining on the sides and rear wall. The top baffle is also simple firebrick construction.
